Location & How to get here
We are right in the centre and yet a little hidden. Below you will find important information on how to get to us as quickly as possible. Whether by bus, taxi, car or on foot.
Travelling by city bus
If you are travelling by bus, take bus no. 1 from the railway station and bus no. 10 from the airport (bus no. 2+1 on Sundays and public holidays).
For both, get off at “Herbert-v.-Karajan-Platz“. Walk towards the fortress, along the Festspielhaus, then turn right into the Toscaninihof and left into the inner courtyard. You will find our entrance in the left-hand corner.
Arrival by taxi
ATTENTION: Our address is Toscaninihof 1, but some taxis do not recognise this address correctly and you will be taken to Mönchsberg!
Therefore, please give the taxi company the address Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz. Drive past the bollard along the Festspielhaus, then turn right into the Toscaninihof, left into the inner courtyard to St. Peter Bezirk 8-9. After the second bollard you will find our entrance to the guest house in the left-hand corner.
Arrival by car & parking
By car:
Our hotel does not have a car park. If you arrive by car, we therefore recommend that our guests park in the Mönchsberggarage (=Altstadtgarage Mitte Parkhaus B, Hildmannplatz 1, 5020 Salzburg). From there, choose the exit “Festspielhäuser” and you will come out of the garage right next to our house. You get a 30% discount ticket with check-out at the reception.
TIP: For regular parkers we also refer to the P-Card, with which the parking costs are about €9,00 instead of €22,00 per day. You have to apply for the P-Card in advance at the parking garage operator Contipark. Find the link HERE.
